Summary: Our two-day trip to the Colca Valley/ Colca Canyon was truly an unforgettable experience. The breathtaking landscapes, picturesque villages, and majestic mountains made every moment special. What made the trip even more remarkable was our guide, Antonio. From the very beginning, he impressed us with his deep knowledge of the region, its history, and its people. He shared fascinating insights about local traditions, the flora and fauna, and the geological formation of the canyon. Antonio’s passion for his work and his warm personality created a friendly and inspiring atmosphere throughout the tour. The highlight of the trip was definitely the moment we saw the Andean Condors soaring gracefully over the canyon. Watching these enormous birds glide effortlessly through the air was an awe-inspiring sight and something we will never forget. Overall, our Colca Valley adventure was an amazing experience that combined natural beauty, cultural discovery, and exceptional guidance. We can highly recommend this tour – and especially Antonio, whose enthusiasm and expertise made it truly special.

Summary: This was a fantastic 2D1N trip. Special thanks to Lisbet, from pre-trip arrangements to on-day transfers, everything went smoothly. Our guide, Jesus, was extremely knowledgeable and explained the sights clearly. The other group members were also friendly and welcoming, making the entire trip truly memorable! The accommodations and meals were excellent, and we even enjoyed a hot spring bath and were lucky enough to spot a condor!

Summary: My Colca Canyon tour with Giardino could not have been better. I was in a group of five and we had the most gracious, knowledgeable, and organized tour guide in Lila. We witnessed the beauty of Colca, the high desert and mountains, all enhanced through the knowledge and context she shared throughout the two days. Thanks to her initial sighting, we had the thrill of following the flight of a condor(!) and I must note her tips in managing the altitude were helpful and reassuring. Lastly, she was seamless in handling the communication between both Spanish and English given we were a mixed language group, ensuring we all benefited from questions and answers asked in the other language. It was a fun and joyful two days with memories I will cherish.

Summary: My wife and I enjoyed our tour of Colca Canyon. Our guide Brian was excellent. He had great knowledge of the local history and customs. He spoke well, took great care of our group and had a wonderful sense of humor. We saw several interesting towns that line the canyon and went to Mirador de Condor to see condors. Very satisfying trip.

Summary: We spent three days exploring the Colca canyon , and from greeting us , and returning us to Ariquipa airport, our guide Antonio was absolutely excellent. His enthusiasm ,knowledge , care ,kindness and patience were incredible .He absolutely made our trip so enjoyable, always on hand to answer our questions , and so enjoyable to spend time with. Summary: We enjoyed the tour very much. Daniel the guide was a very interesting and professional person. The trip was planned well with some interesting stops on the way. Elias the driver was very good, and the van was clean and comfortable. The hotel was good, offering nice meals (the breakfast was a bit poor though). We also went to the hot springs which were very nice experience, and the kids loved it! Besides that the office service before and after was very good, nice and professional, with very good English :) So we definitely recommend Giardino!

Summary: What a fantastic experience. Stephanie and Beni were great from picking us up in Arequipa to taking us to the Colca valley. We were lucky enough to see 30 Condors both flying over the valley and up close on a rock. We really enjoyed feeding both Llama and Alpaca and ending up in the thermal baths in Chivay. They are a wonderful team. The receptionist, Maca, was kind, professional, patient and organized. Our guide, Stephani and our driver Beni were terrific!! Stephani was knowledgeable, informative, kind, funny, attentive and incredibly organized. We forgot something on the bus and Stephani went out of her way to drop it off for us. Summary: We had an amazing experience on the Colca Canyon 2D/1N tour with Giardino. Everything was perfectly organized from the hotel pickup in Arequipa to our final transfer to Puno. Our guide Stephanie was outstanding — warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about local traditions, wildlife, and the landscape. She had a real talent for bringing the group together and even helped us with tips for altitude, like coca candies and local teas. Our driver Beni made the entire journey smooth and comfortable, which let us fully enjoy the stunning views along the way. The stops were fantastic: spotting wild vicuñas in the Salinas y Aguada Blanca Reserve, exploring the stone forest of Puruña, enjoying breathtaking views at the Volcano Viewpoint (4,910m), and even feeding llamas and alpacas. The hotel in Coporaque was cozy, with great food, amazing views, and even a pet alpaca named Thiago! The highlight was definitely arriving early at Cruz del Condor, where we had an exclusive, uncrowded view of the condors flying over the canyon. Lunches were delicious with plenty of Peruvian dishes. For our transfer to Puno, our guide Elar and driver Christian took excellent care of us, including a scenic stop at a beautiful lake along the way. Overall, Giardino exceeded our expectations with their professionalism, attention to detail, and thoughtful touches throughout the trip. Highly recommended if you want the best Colca Canyon experience!
